Can we take a motorhome abroad? Yes we do allow our motorhomes to be taken abroad. Hirers travelling abroad will require a minimum of Continental comprehensive insurance and green card cover which will be supplied by Celtic Journeys at an additional cost to the hirer, see our tariffs for costs.Yes we do allow our motorhomes to be taken abroad.

Are your Motorhomes fully insured? All our motorhomes are covered by comprehensive motoring insurance, which covers the UK. Additional cover can be arranged for Europe at an extra cost. It does not cover your personal items, and we recommend that personal insurance be considered to fully protect yourself.Hires are charged per calendar day. When calculating the number of days a vehicle is hired, the day of pick-up is counted as day one of the rental. The day of the vehicles return is counted as the final day of the rental. Vehicles are required to be collected and returned within business hours unless arranged otherwise.

When and where can I collect the motorhome? Our motorhomes are available for hire all year round. We recommend you book well in advance, particularly during busy periods. The motorhomes are available for collection at our depot on the Ferndown Industrial Estate between 3.30pm and 6pm. Weekly rentals start on Fridays or Saturdays subject to availability. It must be returned between 8:30am and 11am at the end of the hire period. This ensures the motorhome is available for the next hire.The Damage Deposit is the sum you deposit with us over and above the hire charge, This acts as an insurance excess during your hire. This is fully returnable provided the vehicle is returned undamaged, clean and with empty waste tanks. In the event of an insurance claim for damage to the hire vehicle, or a claim from a 3rd party (where you are held to be at fault), the cost of the damage or claim will be deducted from your deposit.Hires are charged per calendar day.

What is included in the price? Prices are inclusive of unlimited mileage, insurance, VAT, gas, etc. The vehicle comes complete with a full tank of diesel, and should be returned full.We are happy to show people around our vehicles but they are generally out on hire.

Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the drivers licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit.
