One Of The Most Notorious Cars - The Beetle
As one of the most family orientated Cars the Volkswagen Beetle or Bug was first created in Germany. It has a familiar shape that is recognised all over the world. During'38 to 2003 the Beetle was created.
It was during'38 to 2003 when the Beetle was first developed. The only slow period of production for the Beetle was during the Second World War. During this time production slowed due to the difficulties of the war. The name that has become famous for this car is the Beetle, this only started to be used in'68 and before this time it was known as "Type 1". When German brochures were released they printed names of "DER KFER".
The old style Beetle was definitely a family orientated car, but the new look car was not aimed at families although it was very similar to the old style. The new style had subtly changed and was now no longer suitable for families. There is not as much room in the new design Beetle although it boasts good running prices.
The Beetle dates back in history to Nazi Germany in'30. Adolf Hitler decided that he wanted to design a car that everyone could purchase. Through a government funded payment scheme regular citizens could afford to purchase the Beetle.

The look was very similar to the old Beetle, but with a new kind of twist. Again it has the round front profile although it appeals more to women this time round. The new Beetle does not appeal to families unlike the old style Beetle did. A family would need a bigger car since the new look Beetle is probably only really suited for a couple. There is a nice range of engines to choose from, these provide good running prices, especially the 1. 9 TDL.
In 2005 the new look Beetle was subtly changed giving it new lights and bumpers. If you are the proud owner of a Beetle then you know that people will recognise your car.
