Buy To Let Motorhomes

By Lackey Cody

Can I bring my motorcycle or trailer? Many guests have enjoyed our cabins on motorcycles, however some have found the access to be too daunting. (Due to the length of the gravel drive to The Pine, we would suggest not choosing that particular cabin.) We want you to make sure you enjoy your stay with us so please consult with Mike before making a reservation if you are on motorcycles. Please no trailers, motorhomes, or extremely low-clearance vehicles!!!

What if I change motor homes? Again, the BrakeMaster system can make the switch with you. However, it may be necessary to purchase additional parts if the other motor home is equipped with a different braking system

With an RV/Boat Loan, do I have to provide a down payment? In most of the RV/Boat loans that we see, we find that most RV/Boat Lenders require a 10% down payment and the RV Lending Provider will usually finance the remaining 90% of the loan. If you are financing an RV/Boat through a business, the amount most lender providers will require is usually closer to 20% down due to the increased risks involved with these types of loans. These down payment requirements vary for each lender so I would suggest you allow us to help you shop and compare.

The exhaust manifolds on our motorhome keep warping and cracking. What can we do about it? Excessive heat is the cause. Make sure the fan and cooling system are working properly. Have the air-fuel mixture tested with an exhaust-gas analyzer while the engine is under full load on a chassis dynamo-meter. Also, have the ignition timing checked. Make sure that any factory-installed air deflectors in the engine compartment are in place. In some persistent cases, it may be necessary to replace the iron manifolds with aftermarket headers. "

How do I get to the rental location? Usually our depots can be reached by public transports or more easily by taxi. Optional private transfers from designated areas can be arranged upon request. To be self-sufficient means you are able to provide for oneself without the help of others i.e. you do not need to be plugged into mains power at a camp site.

Can I tow a trailer behing my vehicle? Yes and No. It is up to the individual owner. Most RVs come with pre-installed hitch receivers. Some owners charge a per day tow fee of $12. for towing. For most of U.S. rentals, a $500. reservation deposit, or half of the rental, is charged to your credit card at the time of confirmation. This is later applied toward your rental charges. When you pick up your RV, there is also usually a security deposit charged and held during the time of your rental. Terms, rates and conditions of deposits vary depending on the owner.
