With so many places to find a bus for sale its a wonder why there is not many more on the roads. Buses are good because they are fun and allow you to get out of your town for a while and go on a vacation. If you are thinking of a school bus these come in handy too because they are great in helping to get your children off to school so that you are not late for work or so that you do not have to get up earlier to take them to school.
The best thing to look for when you are inspecting a bus is rust for one. You don't want to have anything rusted on it especially if it is suppose to be brand new. If it has a little bit of rust this is not so bad because it can be taken care of and this is kind of typical because they do usually sit out in the weather.you will want to make sure that the tires are in good condition so that you wont have to buy new tires for it immediately.
Another thing to check on with a bus is to make sure that the motor is in working condition because you do not want to have to go out and buy a new motor for your bus after you have just paid all this money for it. And you don't want to be in the middle of nowhere when your bus breaks down.
The buses that you get for traveling in you will also want to check and make sure that there is no problems with any of the electronics or motorized things that may be in it. You will want to check the motor no matter what kind of bus you get because you for sure don't want to have to buy a new motor for a bus right after you just bought it. Again, if you are getting one to restore you might just be starting with an empty shell.
If you get a traveling bus you will want to make sure that everything is up to the proper electrical code. Sometimes they sell them with walls that move out to provide more room and if this does not work then there might not be any purpose in having it.
